このたび、初めてのマイホームを購入する事が出来、まり子さん、そして早野さんには心より感謝しています。アメリカに来てまだ日が浅く、こちらの住宅事情もよく分からないまま始めた家探しで大変不安でしたが、友人の紹介を受け、まり子さんに依頼する事にしました。まり子さんは、とても感じが良く、丁寧に私達の希望を聞いて下さいました。その後、希望に沿うような物件をどんどん紹介して下さり、週日、週末問わず、私達のスケジュールに合わせて時間の許す限り沢山の物件を見せて下さいました。また、運転に不慣れで土地勘の無い私に丁寧に土地や場所の事を説明して下さり、時にはご自身のお車に私や私の子供達を乗せて物件を案内して下さり、そのご行為は本当に有り難く、そして嬉しかったです。まり子さんはどの物件に関しても熟知しており、まり子さんの知識の深さと情報量の多さにはプロの力を感じました。また、物件の良し悪しも的確に判断しながら私達の気に入る物件を吟味して下さり、また、プロの視点でしっかりとご自身のご意見も言って下さったので、こちらもまようこと無く物件を選ぶ事が出来ました。私達が購入した時期は、物件の数が少ない割に買い手の数が多く、競争が激しく買い手の立場が弱いと言う大変は時期でしたので、購入時には不安な点もありました。しかし、まり子さんの交渉力と機転の良さであっという間に自分達の理想の物件を見つける事が出来ました。まり子さんは日本語、英語ともを流暢に使いこなし、難しい事もしっかりと分かりやすく説明して下さいました。また、相手のエージェントさんとの交渉においても妥協せず、私達の不安を解消するためにとことん相手に質問し問題を解決して下さいました。買い手の立場に立って交渉して下さったまり子さんの真摯な態度は大きな信頼に値し、今回まり子さんにお願いして本当に良かったと心から思っています。また、アシスタントの早野さんは、迅速かつ細やか、そして住宅に関する知識も豊富で、必要書類などもいつも早急に送ってくださり本当に助かりました。また、私達顧客の立場に立ち、思いやりある行動で私達をアシストして下さいました。住宅購入後のアフターケアも充実しており、すでに信頼できる業者さんの手配もして下さっているので、これからも本当に安心して新居にて過ごせそうです。とにかく、お二人のチームワークの良さとお心の温かさ、そして何より私達の願いを叶えるために時間を問わず日夜対応してくださったことに心より感謝しております。本当にありがとうございました。

I want to thank Mariko and Suzie for the help purchasing my first home. As newcomers to the US, we were very nervous to start house hunting without knowing much about the housing market here. Our friends referred Mariko, and that’s how I decided to use her. Mariko was very friendly and courteous, listening to our all wishes. After that, she came back with attractive houses one after another, and took us to as many as our schedule allowed on both weekdays and weekends. We had little driving experience and familiarity with the area, but Mariko gave us details about the neighborhoods and locations. I was very grateful and delighted that she even drove me and my kids in her own car to show us around the properties. Mariko knew every property inside out, and I felt true her professionalism through her deep and vast knowledge. She also carefully selected the best house for our specific needs by objectively judging the good and bad of the properties. Her fair and professional opinions helped us to choose the right one without hesitation. We bought during a seller’s market where few properties were fought over by many buyers, so we worried about being at a disadvantage. However, Mariko’s strong negotiation skills and savvy with tactics found us the perfect dream home in no time. Fluent in both English and Japanese, Mariko explained difficult matters in simple, clear words. She also never gave in at negotiations with the seller’s agent, and cleared up any concern we had. Her sincere dedication to negotiation on behalf of buyers deserves great trust, and that’s why I felt so happy to have found Mariko. Her assistant Susie was also prompt and attentive, and always proactively prepared any necessary paperwork for us. She was very knowledgeable about the housing market as well. Always client-oriented, Susie assisted us in a caring and thoughtful manner. They have great post-sales service, and had already arranged reliable venders for us. This ensured a smooth transition to a new life in a new home. We truly appreciate Mariko and Susie for their great teamwork, warm-heartedness, and to top it off, their dedication regardless of the time of day or night to make our dream come true. Through my friend’s referral, I asked Mariko to help me find an apartment. Since they let me exchange my wish list and their initial property pick list before moving to the US, it was a breeze to find an apartment with them. Once I arrived in the US, the staff came with me to look at the properties, which was a great relief as my English is limited. Thank you so much for your great service!

他州に転勤になってから家を貸していたテナントが急に出ることになり、年末近い時期に売却の依頼をしたのですが、まりさんには「今、市場が良いから大丈夫!」と引き受けていただき、とても心強く思いました。
その後、テナントの引越しが予定より3週間も遅れたり、思いの他修理しなければならない箇所が多く出費も嵩むなど、更なる心配事が出てきましたが、チームの皆さんがその都度素早く対処してくださって、12月に入りやっとリスティングすることができました。シアトルの12月…雨の多い時期に売れるのか、売れないまま年を越したらどうしよう、などと不安を抱く私をよそに、オープンハウス初日にとても良い条件でオファーをいただきました。
それから年を跨いでのクロージングまで、諸々の修繕や留守宅にねずみが入り込むなどのアクシデントも発生しましたが、すべて迅速にクリアし、無事にすべての手続きが完了しました。
まりさんをはじめ、彼女を支えるチームの皆さん、私が不在という状態で、恐らく問題の多い案件だったのではないかと思いますが、いつも快く対応してくださり、本当に感謝しています!将来シアトルに戻った際には、またぜひ頼りにさせてくださいね。

I had rented out my house since I was transferred to another state, and my tenant unexpectedly decided to move. Near the end of last year, I asked Mariko to sell my house. It was greatly reassuring to hear her say, “Don’t worry, we have a strong market right now!”
Once started, we faced some worries like the tenant’s 3-week relocation delay, and additional expenses from unexpected repairs. However, Mariko’s team quickly resolved every issue, and we are finally able to list the house in December. Yet, it was December in Seattle… I was worried about the rainy weather and starting the new year with an unsold house. I was happily mistaken. I got a wonderful offer on the very first day of the open house!
After the new year, we successfully completed closing after some repairs and a couple of surprises like an uninvited visit by rodents.
It must have been difficult for Mariko and her team to work with me, while I was out of state. I truly appreciate their readiness to help me. I will definitely ask for their help again when I return to Seattle!
